Coach Klein is a first year assistant coach at MHS. In 2014, she served as the assistant coach at Hill College. She helped lead the team to the Region 5 Championship, qualifying them to play in the NJCAA National Championship, where they finished 13th in the nation.
In her collegiate career, Coach Klein played four years for the Tarleton State University TexAnns. She spent her freshman year as a DS, taking over the libero position for her remaining three years. Her senior year, she was named LSC Libero of the Year and Second Team All Conference Team. In 2011, 2012, and 2013, she was named Tarleton’s Defensive Player of the Year, along with being Tarleton’s Co-MVP her senior year. Coach Klein set and still holds two records at Tarleton: total digs in a season with 604 and digs per set with 5.39.
Coach Klein attended Amarillo High School and played for Coach Jan Barker. She was a two-year letter winner and helped lead her team to two consecutive 5A State Titles in 2008 and 2009. She was named Academic All-District, and received the spirit award on varsity.
Coach Klein graduated from Tarleton State University with her Bachelor degree in Kinesiology.
She is very excited about the upcoming season and becoming part of the Marcus family.
Sarah Dekeyser | JV Silver Coach
This is Coach Dekeyser’s first year as an assistant coach for MHS.
For the past two years, she has been a teacher at Marcus 9th Grade Campus.
Coach Dekeyser played softball at ETBU and UT Tyler. She was named American Southwest Conference MVP and received All-Tournament Team selection as a freshman.
Coach Dekeyser played softball at Flower Mound High School where she was a two-time First Team All-District selection and District Co-Offensive Player of the Year. She was also awarded team MVP and received scholar athlete honors.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of North Texas.

Coach Rector is in her first year of teaching and coaching, and she is honored to be at Marcus.
She has worked at Boals Elementary in Frisco ISD for the past two years as an assistant P.E. coach.
She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in December of 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in general studies. She earned an alternative certification to teach Special Education and Physical Education.
Coach Vector played volleyball and basketball in high school, as well as intermural volleyball in college.
She is so excited to be part of Marcus High School and is passionate about helping students be the best they can be on and off the court.
